About 50 subjects will be studied each year. Peripheral blood will be drawn at Beth Israel Hospital in New York and shipped to BNL for in vitro study of lymphocyte repair capacities. No repeat sampling is anticipated. The risks to subjects from drawing blood are a slight possibility of infection and localized bleeding into the tissues. No subjects will be studied at BNL.
